Link Chains for Scraper Chain Conveyors are generally Case Carburized for High Wear / Abrasive Resistance characteristics having close dimensional tolerances for running of chains & associated connectors over sprockets with reliability under severe operating conditions and / or at high speeds. Generally manufactured as per OEM Design.
SPECIFICATION:
- Material: Ni Cr Moly Steel.
- Heat Treatment: Case Carburized, Double Quenched with Core Refining & Tempered.
- Surface Hardness: HRC 58 - 62.
- Process of Manufacture: Resistance Butt Welding up to 20 mm Dia and Flash Butt Welding 22 mm and above
- Case Depth: 0.1d with Tolerance +/- 0.01d
- Delivery condition: Chains are calibrated & supplied in matched pairs.
